Anyone want to recommend an electric toothbrush I have been using the braun oral b 3D for a few years and I feel its time for a change.

So anyone want to recommend anything? I was thinking the braun 8500 deluxe or braun sonic complete

Alternatively the Philips Sonicare

I bought the sonicare for myself just to see what all the fuss is about. I cant big it up as much as its worth. Its excellent once you get used to it. Very powerful, and i think mine was only £40 which isnt that bad, i cant see me getting another one for years to come now! :)

Seriously consider getting the sonicare toothbrush, its as good as everyone says.

i got it from ebay for £60 which is not bad.

Im going to need a second brush for my home in the uk so i will try the Philips sonicare also and report back which is the best.

I use to have a Philips Sonicare until BA lost my suitcase en route home from Stockholm and it arrived back 4 days later without my toothbrush. TBH, I prefer the Braun.

Have often thought about getting an electric toothbrush... but how much are the replacement heads and how often do they need changing?

Its really worth it, I have been using a normal tooth brush for the past week and its driving me crazy, you just do not get the same level of cleaning.

You don’t have to replace the heads that much, around every 4 months or so. They cost around the same as a good toothbrush ie around a fiver but I think you can find them for much less on ebay.

Well I've got a Sonicare and tbh I wouldn't buy another. It wasn't cheap over 100 quid I think and its shared (3 heads in the kit we got) between 3 of us :P

Its not more than a year or so old and needs recharging a hell of a lot now. Used to last ages so I guess the battery inside is giving up the ghost.

I think the old oral B electric we got was 40 quid and that still works.

Feels very odd going manual now ;)

I've got a Bruan Advance Power nothing special just a toothbrush tbh but does anyone know where to get heads for a decent price?
