Best email client for Gmail?

I've never used an Email client before, but I'm just wondering what the best email client to use is for Gmail?

Just for simple use right from the desktop.

For Free I'd use Thunderbird, Paid then Outlook.

But it's easier to just log in through a browser!

I prefer using the browser, I've tried switching a few times, but the layout in gmail just 'works'

Wish google would release their own desktop client for it though, just to speed it up a tad

I use outlook at thunderbird due to the limitations (Outlook doesn't let you have multiple emails from an exchange server or something, I can't remember it's a long time since I tried to set it up)
