Best family VR experience?

Wife and kids? just stick them on the demo, when they stand on the building and look around, then when the T-Rex comes round the corner...then the little robot thing with the cassettes, cool little demo.
 
Yeah the Touch 'First Contact' demo actually seems to knock people's socks off. I used to use The Blu's whale demo too, and Robo Recall for anyone that'a more of a gamer.

Those are impressive, but also very safe in terms of comfort.
 
First Contact, Beat Saber, Face Your Fears, Air Car, Robo Recall.

Obviously Face Your Fears should only be shown to those who like scary scenes.

Dead & Buried is a nice cartoon zombie shooter
Showdown is a good VR demo, nothing to do but watch
ABE VR is a creepy robot demo
Mountain Goat a quick game, similar to QBert


Also download Sensor Bounds which helps with your sensor setup, gives you an in VR view of what your sensors can see.
 
Well we all had a first play around.

Only tried Dreamdeck and First Contact but I have to say it's FAR better than I ever expected to be honest!

Missus said she didn't want to have a go, but did in the end - she likes it, but said she prefers the one that she can see her hands in! She also finds the cable irritating - may have to look at a solution for that.

I limited the kids time on it for now.

I need to do some reorganisation of my desk and filing cabinet etc, to get the play area bigger.

Doh.. My Lenovo Explorer has been dispatched too... I've gone from having no VR to having 2!

I intend to sell on the Lenovo - hopefully that's the wise choice!
 
Surprised nobody mentioned The Lab. It's a great bunch of games and experiences all wrapped up in one. And it's free.

Give it a go.

Yeah, queued a few freebies up including The Lab.

Just need to find her a decent escape room type game to try.
