Rads + pump

This rad.

I know SGT's are the best at what they do, but I havent read anything since BitFenix brought their newer fans out.

According to OCUK's spec pages:
BitFenix Spectre 120mm - £6.49
CFM - 52
DB - 18
RPM - 800-1000

Now compare that to Scythe GT's:
Scythe GT 120mm 1450rpm - £13.99
CFM - 50 +/-10%
DB - 21 at full speed
RPM - 1450 +/-10% at full speed.

Only reason Im looking for something different is because I want LED's and the BitFenix fans have LED options.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Also, is this res/ pump combo strong enough for a 240mm rad and a 120mm rad with just a CPU?

will always be a fan of the gt's, they are the smoothest fans i have seen, the bearings keep em running very well. worst case have the fans push/pull, led on one side, gt's on the other ;)

If you want leds try the spectre pro fans rather than the old standard ones, higher cfm and higher static pressure, though my vipers out performed them by a good 4-5c.

While I haven't used the Bit Fenix fans, I can't really judge them, but if they're anything like many case fan manufacturers, they tend to increase the listed specs, and the fans tend to "under perform", the Cooler Master R4's are an example of this, but for half the price of the GT's you could give one a go and see how it does!

After having a look, i won't have the room for a push pull config, so having LEDs is pointless now...some gt's are on the cards then.
