Hi,
What are the best fans out there?. I have 2 viper fan on my venom, I've just order the H70 and I'm going to replace the stock fans but what with? I know the viper are really good but are there any better one's out there?. I also have the lancool k-62 case what has 3 140mm fan pre-installed with the case but I want to replace them as well.
So what are the best 120mm fans and 140mm fans out there?. Money ain't a problem, I would also like them to be blue LED and White as well
Cheers.

Do you want the best fans out there or do you want blue LED fans with white fins? Enermax do a nice sparkly range of fans with LEDs but as to whether they're the best performing...

Tbh the Vipers you already have are some of the best, excellent static pressure and very quiet etc.

I want the best fans more then anything, blue & White led would be gr8 but I can alway get the neon lights.
I have seen the Enermax fan they do look and how are they with the air flow?.

I think the Vipers are the best fans to use with the h50/h70 tbh.

I'm using 2 x Apache Black's with mine, which is the same fan as the Viper although not as fast.

Make sure you set them in a push/pull configuration for best results. :)

Well out of the Enermax range I've only had personal experience of the UCTB14 T.B. 140mm fan. Its fabulously quiet even at max rpm and pushes a reasonable amount of air into my case. Not sure Id ever use them on a rad though.

Sanyo Denki do some monster 120mm/38mm fans if maximum possible air flow is your thing but they're not quiet from what I've read.

+1 for the san ace - but it's not quiet even at 5v - as it has a rumbling type noise
But then I've not found a fan that is, but that might just be me :D

Static pressure is what you need in a fan that mounted on a rad.

I think the san ace ( = sanyo denki) fans are quiet enough at 5V. I'm quite fussy about sound, but not as bothered as SS :)

They certainly don't make LED fans. They make very, very good fans for industrial applications. The spectacularly expensive printers used in high street photo shops use san ace fans, as do various Dell computers and every watercooler who can both afford the cost and source the damned things.

If you can't get them (quite possible), then 38mm thick fans by yate loon would get my vote. You can get transparent shrouds from feser which can be lit up, so perhaps that's a compromise. Four san ace might cost more than the H70.

Have you tried Enermax Clusters or NoiseBlockers? Both very quiet and they push a lot of air.

I have a NoiseBlocker MF12-S2 as the only fan in my last build.
But when your pc has no moving parts you can still hear it at night.

As john hinted at above - I'm really fussy about fan noise ;)

That said the MF12 are the best case fans imho - as the slight noise that do make is low and constant.
Complete rubish on a rad or HS as low static pressure.

I also have a San Ace 9G1212H1011 and at 5.6v it's as loud as the MF12 at full speed (but with a worst tonal quality)

Martinm210's Channel on youtube is a good place to start with recorded fan noise / airflow data.
They're also mounted (unlike manufacture info) so well worth a look.
