Ello!

What would be the best Far Cry for co-op?

I got most of them but want to snag a copy for my lad in the sale.

Wildlands has been our go to for the last few months but would like to try a Far Cry now.

I own most of them.

A quick Google suggests New Dawn co-op is the best? This is one I don't actually own so would need to buy twice.

Also 3 (and I think 4) don't list co-op in on the Steam Store page. Has the function been removed or does it still work?

For instance Wildlands doesn't list co-op (on the store, it is in tags though) but works just fine after clicking past a couple of errors etc.

Cheers.

I don't play MP but some of the missions / maps within New Dawn were obviously designed for MP and are pretty fun, it's one of my favourite in the franchise especially if you take all of the aids off like enemy marking etc. I know Mac over at Worthabuy had a blast playing it MP with his mates. It's just over £6 over on Ubisoft if you use the HOLIDAY20 discount code.

Good shout.

Yeh Google searches suggest the same.

Odd as New Dawn was never on my radar hence not owning it.

I'll grab a couple of copies - cheers.

Both Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn are great in co-op. The stories aren't going to win any awards and some of the side missions can get a little repetitive but overall if you're playing it with friends/family they're good fun

Can you play more than 2 people on any of them ?

Seem to remember that was a limitation even on the Arcade levels but the interface confusingly always looked like you could add more than 2 ?

Re Farcry 5.

I can't say I've played more than 2 in Coop sorry. But what I can say it's that it's ace with 2. Especially with the aerial combat.
