Had my antec kuhler 620 for 3 years now, have re seated the cooler with new paste i had hanging around, temps still push 78 degrees on the hottest core when it used to be 10 degree"s under in gaming and testing compared to that when i first had it.
But its been run all day everyday all be it on idle just doing reg stuff.
though BF4 would cause on of the cores to reach 80 degree"s where i would have it set to cut out, this has dropped to 78 degree"s since i have gone single card.
But since iv changed the paste, re seated it and gone to single card, its still hotter than what it was at 4.5ghz i2700k overclock.
Im guessing they degrade a little over time, perhaps a stronger system fan i could add to my push, pull setup ?
Or just go for a double size fixed loop, As iv got the space in the antec 1200 case, there are 3 or 4 to consider from the antec, and corsair ranges ? or something else perhaps.
It would be nice to have fan control software too, But which one is regarded here as the best to consider for the job? Me i cant really tell them apart.
