Best football game on Xbox 360?

Is the Pro Evolution 6 any good or should I look elsewhere?

I used to quite like Pro Evo on the N64 when it was known as Jikkyou World Soccer. That's going back a long time I know, I think it was the France 98 World Cup game that I imported for the system. Hopefullt it's not changed too much and just the graphics are better :)

The modern Pro Evo games are nothing like the N64 game. Basically Konami had 2 design teams that worked on separate football games - the ISS games that were on the N64 and subsequent console are far inferior to the Pro Evo series which started on the PlayStation, then game to the Xbox and PC etc.
 
I prefer Fifa 07, it took me alittle while to get use to the 360 version its totally different to the PS2 and original Xbox version for 2007.

Its down to personally preference although I have both :D
 
Pro Evo is the best footie game full stop.

But, don't expect it to be too similar to ISS on the N64.

Pro Evo is a descendant of the ISS Pro series. International Superstar Soccer for the N64 was developed by a different team (though still from within Konami) and as such is a completely different game.
 
Another Fifa bod over here, a little simple sometimes, but it challenges me most of the time :)
 
Ok, thanks. It seems that both camps have their fans so neither can be a bad bet. I've got a load of Gamecube and DS games that I'm going to trade in today for a football game and a second wireless pad. The wife will be pleased :p
 
There's no doubt Pro Evo is the best, and this is coming from an unbiased guy who absolutely hates football games and constantly insults his mate and tells him to go outside and play football whenever he's on Pro Evo.
 
Im a Fifa fan myself, its better presented and just for me plays better.

I own Pro evo, but just cannot seem to get on with it.
 
Pro Evo is way ahead of Fifa if you want to play football, if you want the best presentation and strips then Fifa is what you want :)
 
FIFA 07 on the XBox is great, on the 360 it sucks SO MUCH.

I am a Pro Evo fan through and through but I do wish they would get up with the times when it comes to pesentation. I know the gameplay is the most important thing, but I really would like it so I don't have to mute the sound when on the main menu.
 
When SWOS is released on XBLA that will be the best. :D

As mentioned above PES 6 plays a more realistic game than any other but it's far too stripped down on the 360.

Incorrect, Kick Off (Closely followed by Sensible Soccer) on the Amiga is the best of the best football games that ever have been, are and ever will be. end of!!!!

I'm a PES man, Fifa just makes me think of Seb Blatter and he's an arse ;) :p
