Ok, so if anything has been proven lately there are certain sites, one in particular that are not the best for news. So which sites do people find best for news / reviews and rumours

Do you want actual verified news and/or information only when it reaches a certain level of likely to be true? or the latest rumours, etc. as soon as they break?

Gamers Nexus usually keep things fairly grounded and vet for the more obvious fakes, etc. but can be a bit behind the curve for breaking news.

I still look at Anandtech for web.
Ian Cutress’ channel on YT, alongside GamersNexus, Level1tech and HardwareUnboxed.
I think the above advice of looking at multiple places is probably the wisest. There’s always a lot to be gained by ignoring wccftech though. :D

Are you looking to be entertained, or are you looking for actual tech news?

WCCFTECH = A snail farts, but some random person suggests the noise is a storm coming, and WCCFTECH reports it as a hurricane is on the way.

I do not mind rumours but real news is always preferred.

The past few years in the world of PC tech news has become about who can post the rumours first, to get the most likes in an attempt to financially benefit from subscriptions/views etc.

WCCFTech based themselves off of totally unproven rumours and stealing other people's content (yes, they even used to change the watermarks apparently on stolen images). Why on earth should we believe now that they have changed their practices?

If you can sit through them, then Gamers Nexus does good video news articles. As does LTT guys. Mostly free of rumour and trash.

Others that seem OK, but I'm skeptical about are Hot News, (UHDTech alternative channel or something?), Red Gaming.

I don't really use websites for tech news anymore, I just see it in my google feed or whatever.
