Hi guys

I have just got my Ballistix 5300 kit back from RMA, I have 4 sticks in and I'd like to know should I stick it on 800mhz 3-3-3-9 IF I can get that, or loose timings and 1000mhz IF I can get it stable?

Sorry if this is a n00b question but I'm not to sure either way :(

;)

Different applications benefit from one or the other. Imo its usually best to find a good middle ground that way you have all bases covered. So lets say 800@3-3-3-8 or 1000@5-5-5-15. I would go with 900@4-4-4-12. If you catch my meaning;).

There's probably not a lot in it. Give each setting a quick superpi run and take the best.

C2D seems to like higher Mhz at the expense of tight timings usually.

Superpi it is then, running 4-4-4-12 @ 890 at the moment and seems good!

Lol ok at what 16K 64k?

Also what score am I concentrating on? Thought I'd used this app before but I haven't :(

Cheers
