Does the cubic space in a cube case provide better room for cooling or the vertical size of the full tower?

Vertical towers tend to have more room for radiators.

If you want a decent amount of radiator in a cube you have to be looking at mountain mods.

Though with Cubes don't you get a lot of room to be able to stack two rads side by side? or can you not mount them that way?

It really depends on the case tbh, a good mountain mods you can stack 3 x 360/420 radiators, but you're then left short on options elsewhere in the case.

Its subjective to the end user though. Personally I prefer a big tower case (I was very close to buying more than one cube case this year too!). Look at something like the XSPC H2, Silverstone TJ11, Phobya Ultra Big Water Case or the CaseLabs STH10, all offer large combinations of quad/tri rads :)

Cheers for the suggestions, I have had a Silverstone TJ03 for years and years through upgrades and only really want to upgrade the case to be able to fit loads of water cooling in.

I simply want the biggest case to set me for years to come

No not really, I don't really mind what the cost is as long as it's not astronomical, I'm not looking for platinum coating here but not really bothered about the cost either.

Yep 900D is set to be a great case, otherwise take a look at the tj07 & tj11, both take plenty of radiator and are very very nice.

The caselabs merlin might be worth a look too, iirc it takes 480+360 natively without being overly massive.

Yeah something like http://www.caselabs-store.com/magnum-tx10-d/ looks pretty cool, though it's not quite a tower and not quite a cube, hmmm, a bit of a transgender case??? lol

Though the Corsair looks nice, it's obviously a full tower but not as tall as some others from the pic - I am a picky git aren't I!

I think the correct name for that is a double wide tower.

Just do lots if research, ask lots of questions and don't rush your purchase, I've been trying to decide on a new water case for that long that I'm now modding my 800d to give me more time, though I'm fairly set on the idea of an xspc h2+

Thx pgi947, I see the HSPC are custom built for water cooling but I don't really like the flat pack build it yourself and the screws on the outside look weird, though it does look perfect for cooling.

I'll definitely just have to keep on looking though.
