i have to admit, i like how Guildwars was implimented... i only played the beta but it was like a 10 mb dl, and while u were creating your character.. it was streaming the starting area... and while ** mucking around in tutorials and starting area it streamed down the lvl 1 area. Very well designed and decent gfx... but i just found WoW so much more appealing. Dunno maybe i give guildwars another go.

hah, originally played on europa, then a free server called blitzkrieg, was kickarse we had the most hated PK guild on the server
dont think its about anymore though, you got any suggestions for decent uptime / population / etc servers?
awsome! i was on europa too about 5 years ago
and well i play on UOGAMERS Hybrid server usually has 800+ online and peaks around 1300 people, mostly american people but still a fair ammount of brittish people. its up like pretty much all the time 
if ya wana come and run with me im pretty rubbish but give me an add on msn: [email protected]never winter nights (1 or 2) a lot of people set up servers, and that woudl give you pretty much everyhting you are asking for I think.
other than that, do down the "private Server" route for somethgin like WOW or everquest

For everyone that said "just pay". The money isnt the problem, its a mind trick that if I pay I will play it all the time lol, if its free I wont care too much and it wont kill my life... again.... have been a paid mmo 'user' 3 times now 
Added, got a few mates / housemates that will probably play too and we are all UO vets. Which leads me too...

MMOs needing subscription doesn't mean it is better than free MMOs.
I tried LOTRO, fair enough it has quite a huge content, but the game is so dull once you reach 50 and do a couple of raids. The repetitiveness of the game turned me off a lot. And there just isn't any enough existing/new contents to keep players.
I am trying to look for a MMO now, be it P2P or F2P.
I have tried WoW and it is just not my cup of tea, the game didn't even last 2 days on my pc ;p
So if there is any game out there, please do recommend.
