best free mp3 converting software

hello

got a cd, which I want to rip into mp3 format to put on mp3 player for the gym ,

seen a cple on download.com but not sure which is the best free one to use

download it, double click it once (it'll install itself)


then look in start menu, open EAC (from start menu), put cd in, select the drive (top left), then choose which songs you want, and click the mp3 button

they'll be extracted to C:\mp3

poorer quality in wmp, plus, you have to use wmp

i was about to say deffo go for EAC and LAME but i remembered bledd has that version he packaged up himself - EAC and LAME with all the best settings so you can't go wrong
