Best free remote desktop software

hey guys

Hope you all had a good christmas! Just a question really about remote desktop software. My sister moved to australia a few months ago and she's having trouble with installing stuff on her laptop.

I was trying to use windows remote desktop connection but i cant figure it out. Is there any decent free software out there that can do the job? Both machines use windows 7 and need to be as simple as possible to set up.

Trailed TeamViewer for a while, thought it to be one of best available.

Now purchased it and use it for supporting all customers remotely.
