I have a project where i have to draw some circuit diagrams and im looking for a free (or at least cheap) bit of software that will enable me to draw simple lines and symbols over a building plan, whilst keeping said plan completely untouched (ie as some sort of untouched layer)
I would (and have) been using paint, but i would prefer something where i can actually keep anything i draw as an object that can be moved ie if i draw a line, i want to be able to just select that line and either delete it or if i have a symbol, i want to be able to just select it and move it around easily.
Ive not done anything like this before, so any suggestions on what would be a good program to use would be much appreciated
