Best free web design software

I would like to build a website but I will be using my new Advent 4211(MSI Wind) to develop the website while I am away from home. Can anyone suggest free web development software I could use?

I haven't used it myself and I'm guessing you mean a WYSIWYG editor, but this might be useful.

HTML Kit would also be worth a look....also have a look in the HTML Editors section...

notepad, so you don;t ahve to install anything or if you want a good editor use notepad++ as that is free.

If he was hand coding sites, I think he'd know about Notepad.
