i get a lot of downtime and can not connect to database messages with the website i host with 000webhost.

hosting is so cheap you may aswell get some proper hosting

i use vidahost for my main site

Hosting is only a few quid a year, worth paying for.

I'll echo this feeling forever; Vidahost have consistently been the best hosting providers for me (and the many people I've converted to them) at a great price, it'll only cost you £30 a year.

They're probably not the cheapest but been fine for service and easy to make changes to hosting, email accounts etc though.

I was referring mainly to the price

I agree though, I've been with them for circa 4-5 years and never had many issues.

I've bought xjcbx.co.uk with 1&1 (nothing on there, no point looking) 2 years ago for like a quid, and now only use it for the email address, could I use that address with a different host such as Vidahost?

If so, how?

Lol they're based just down the road from me!

Happy to offer you 1gb of space, cpanel and 50gb monthly bandwidth for free. I've got a reseller account for a few sites and have buckets of resources left
