I've been using HoTMetaL 4.0 ( ) up until my recent Vista install but now it's dead in the water. Got any suggestions on a decent free WYSIWYG HTML editor?
I rather like IMS WebDwarf
No substitute for HTML, but pretty idiot proof.
Its also a lot better than some, in that everything is in its own independantly moved frame. (This can cause issues though, swings and roundabouts!)
Yup, it certainly has design time validation.
Not sure about getting them validated by the W3C sites, but then you shouldn't really need to if the IDE does its job correctly.
Lovely jubbly. Might try it out later. If I preview the file in Opera I can always right-click and get Opera to pass the page to the W3C validator for me.
