best freeware disk management app ?

Im looking for some thing like partition magic, but free , whats the best one out there ?

also, i have a HDD split with a partition , a OS on c: and media on D:

Im installing the OS onto a new SSD tomorrow , once done im going to need to delete the partition on the old HDD

so i format the C: first , that will give me one blank C: drive and media on the D drive , how can i then delete that partition without losing the media on D: ? so i have one full disk again with just the media on it ?

Think you might be able to do this in Disk Management (Right Click Computer-->Manage).

Delete the old Partition and I think you'll be able to extend the partition you want to keep (the old one).

It'll depend which version of Windows you're using, but worth a look cos it's free!

PS make sure you backup first :)
