I'm just wondering what the best fully modular psu would be for my rig. I have a 650w which is enough but my current one is only semi modular. So In only needing 650 watts. Any help is much appreciated.

Why do you need fully modular over semi modular? You know the only difference is the 24pin and 4+4pin being modular on fully modular.

However these are needed for EVERY PC build, so those being modular are rather pointless and actually not being modular on these two cables can have a slight better stability over modular, but with high quality units you won't notice any effect in reality.

Only real reason I can think of wanting fully modular is wanting custom braided cables.

Modular cables add slight length because you plugging it in just like Sata ports if you don't have flat angled ones which isn't an option for psu cables.

I suppose full mod is good to only have what you need so not so much to cable, but I've had semi and non mod and find non mod easier with just the cable tidy being the bigger problem lol

To be honest it's just for aesthetics. I seem to have major OCD hahah. It would be "slighty" more convenient if I change colour scheme etc. But... I will admit that it's mostly for aesthetics. I'll probably just replace all of the wires on my semi modular and get an extension because its just the bare rainbow of wires on the 24pin that spoils it slightly. Thanks for the advice.

I'm a big fan of leadex super flower. Got a black 1000w platinum in my new gaming rig, and just picked up a new white 650w gold rated for my work rig.
They are both fully modular, semi passive (Ie the fan only spins when it needs to, which is never in my experience) and the sockets light up white when you plug them in. Power supplies are rarely sexy or exciting, but super flower come close.
They've also just released some gun metal grey versions!

+1 for superflower, i got a 750w platinum which is overkill for my system but it was a black friday offer, and the fan rarely spins in eco mode so win win :D

Whilst I have a SuperFLower myself, I think that I would go with the EVGA's if I wanted fully modular again. The only reason here is the UK RMA support etc.

To be fair to the SuperFlower, it has served me very well. The LED lighting would be nice if the PSU wasn't hidden beneath a shroud, but I've already got a load of LED lighting in my case to not need the extra bling!
