Best game publisher/developer ?

Rareware when they were owned by nintendo, then Microsoft screwed them over :( would say rockstar north or rockstar san diego for a modern day equivalent
 
As others have said, Nintendo easily.

No one else is anywhere near to being in the same league, so much so that I'm genuinely surprised they're not on everyone's list.
