Best gameplay game?

What, in your opinion is the game with the best gameplay?

For me id have to say Soldier Of Fortune 2 multiplayer. Used to play about 3 years ago which a lot and have recently had a few goes on it. Still as good as it used to be. Just been on columbian jungle on terror clan server

SOF2 and Soda pipes (puzzle game) for me

mohaa multiplayer takes a very close second
 
MOHAA Multiplayer by far ... you have to play it a lot with good players to get the hang of playing it "pro" though and learn self spec, clipping and all that, not just a game you can get, install and play not matter how good your aim is.

Just a shame that the main Anti-Cheat for it, isnt in it to stop cheats but to make money and has basically ruined it, for me it died at the end of 2005 although its still the 2nd most active game on clanbase dot com.

Played a hell of a lot of Allied Assault with a great clan who other than myself were all geordies. Think we played at clan base and in the shortlived blueyonder league, we must have played it solidly for eighteen months plus.
Loved the weapon balance and the map design for the obj maps was superb. Havent been able to get back into clan gaming since.

What MOHAA clans were you guys in?
 
Heroes of Might and Magic III for me :D I lose days and days because of that game... IV and V aren't a patch on it though :(

I was in a clan called [--SAS--], played mohaa for about 2 years but the cheating got ridiculous and the only servers left were silly mods like CKR realism where everyone used a MG.

For me the best games:

1. Quakeworld
2. Mohaa
3. Operation Flashpoint
4. Battlefield 2

Aye, I'm playing it through for the first time in 5 years atm, loving it almost as much as replaying FF7 last year.

Great story, good characters, so many ways to play it, locations, just love it and would love an up to date similar sort of cyber punk game (forget DX2, was crap, even in it's own piddle of **** right)
 
Quakeworld definitely has the best gameplay IMO.

As for singleplayer, it's a tough one to call because comparing across genres is tough. The CM/FM and Civ series both have a lot of replayability.
 
Mohaa was my favourite I think. Used to play (well still do on other games) in Uber Gaming. Loved CKR servers with DMW set to kick. Obj and TDM, could have the best fun playing all of the exploits and people asking "HOW!?!?!?!??" and what not. :p
 
Yoshis Island on the Snes was one of the best for me.

PC Wise, i would say CS 5.2-6.1 was my favourite gaming experience of all time.
