Best gaming controller for race games

What is the best controller for connecting to my pc to play racing games.

I'm not to keen on the xbox controller for windows, more of a ps3 man to be honest.

any good controllers designed for windows that will allow me to play racing games?

To be quite honest, your best bet is to get used to the 360 controller and use that. As someone posted earlier today in another thread, it is the only good thing to come out of the whole XBOX thing to us PC gamers.

Plug in and play. No messing about.

I think your right, after reading a few reviews just a second ago. It seems to be the best and only controller worth having. Cheers

It is only because you are pretty my guaranteed to have no issues. All PC games that have a controller option are already set up for it.

I would love to be able to use the GameCube controller (best one ever imo) for PC games but it ain't going to happen.
