Best gaming CPU?

I'm thinking of upgrading.

My current spec is in my sig below.

Whats is the best pound for pound gaming CPU?

Budget of £150-£200

One that Overclocks well too!

Core i5 2500k, But you can't use it on a 775 socket since that socket is long EOL.

Ivybridge is out in April, but April isn't really "on the way" its nearly half a year until release!

this question has been done to death already, even following the bulldozer release and sb-e release over the past coule of months the answer remains the same.

either way looking at your sig I'd say try to overclock your current cpu to around 3.6ghz and you'll be set till ivybridge is released, you can then do a complete overhaul with new cpu/mb/ram/graphics card etc. this'll allow you to save up more money.
