Hi all,

As the thead suggests really, I am looking for a decent mouse mat, probably the ice mat at the moment.

Its to go with either a G5 or an MX518.

Anyone have any comments or pictures (to see size) of some of the gaming mouse mats out there?

Cheers

I'm using the following:-
Icemat - Black 2nd Edition (GS-001-IC) + Logitech G5 Gaming-Grade Laser Mouse - Retail (KB-069-LG)

I've had the Icemat a couple of years but didnt like using it with the MX510, soon as I bought the G5 & tried the combination it was absolutly great! :)

another vote for the black ice mat 2nd edition.
using it with a basic M$ ball mouse... good gripy surface, but needs a clean once in a while with a bit of soap and water.

Do you put the skates on aswell? because without then its like nails on a black board.. i.e it makes a quite annoying scratching noise all the time.

if your looking for something smooth then the icemat is good, the exactmat (what i use) has 2 sides (speed and control) so you might like the smooth side of that aswell, and its very good. iv used almost every mouse mat out there to find the best one, and the best IMO or the exactmat, the new func which is bigger iv heard and the icemat.

also look at the steelpad, but i havent personally used it.

lol sorry if that starts to annoy you now! lol

To the guy that wants a mousemat, tell us what type you want, ie smooth etc what material aswell. (iv got every mousemat except that steelpad so i can tell you all you need to know about them.

I have an icemat2 with Razer diamondback and they are great - unles syou hand sweats as the mouse stops working properly so i have to flip the icemat in 90degree angles every few mins - but only if im really getting worked up when gaming!
