Best gaming mouse?

On a mamba but the side grip is falling off and i expect razer won't replace it for free even though its only like 1.5 years old.
Mind you its been good while using it, very comfortable.

Tempted to go for a naga or wait for another decent mouse to come out.

@cHk4 Im surprised you havent got the limited edition league of legends mouse. You have every other character and skin pretty much :)
I think it comes with a couple of special runes as well if i remember correctly.

I have a Razer Lachesis, its been doing the job nicely for a while now. Feels comfortable to hold and the extra buttons are good for mapping things to and adjusing sensitivity on the fly.

Got a G500 today and its nice, not actually gamed with it yet but feels comfortable to control. Plus for some reason comes with weights, which is pretty neat :D

Naga for me. I absolutely love the buttons on the side. Makes swapping weapons instant and accurate compared to the mouse wheel.

Downside is, the left button has gone bad and keeps double clicking. It's a common problem apparently on Razer mice and the fix is to dismantle and spray contact cleaner on the micro switch.

What's the difference between PS/2 and USB for mice? I mean, i know PS/2 is better for keyboards - i would have thought that the advantage of not having the potential for the USB controller to be interrupted would carry though to mice, and it's not as if either are transferring huge amounts of data...

I just hope the connection isn't completely phased out in favour of multi-purpose ports, it's a pretty good assumption to make that each PC will have a mouse and keyboard connected as high priority components.

The thing is that most people are still using Deathadders and MX518s for several years now, they are both tried and tested and absolutely great mice and dont need replacing until they go bust like mine has. So they are going to be very well recommended by all the people that use them.

But there actually are a lot of better gaming mice out now with plenty of alternatives, and for not too high a price compared to what they used to cost a few years ago.

And they reason for that is simple.

The are both optical.

I've just had the Gigabyte M8000X dispatch so it doesnt matter. I wanted a mouse with a higher DPI because I find that I have to drag my deathadder too much anyway.

I just liked it on my desk though because its the Guild Wars LE version.

Thats the exact problem I'm having though, cant highlight anything or click and drag, its a nightmare because I also have RSI.

I just found out that it has a non tangle braided cable, I am a huge fan of those since getting some headphones with one :), it wont be here till monday though, it only dispatched today :(

Everyone reccomends the MX518, it's a very good mouse but it's not the best. One of its problems is that is has path correction, which is not a good thing if you play high end FPS. I would say the Steelseries XAI is the best currently.

Lots of pro gamers like quake duellers still use the MX518, so that's good enough for me to continue using mine.

That Naos 5000 looks purdy btw.

Razer Naga Epic, I've had the normal naga, Lachesis, Mx518, Inteli mouse's 1 -2 -3, Best made is the lachesis but mine is the early one, For comfort Naga epic, Build on the epic is a lot higher then the normal Naga, But the wireless feature sucks it's allways droping.

Natty.
