Best gaming worlds?

I might change my mind, but at present Football Manager 2011 is my favourite game world, imagination over graphics any day of the week.

Never played eq1 but played eq2 to death and still love the game world too bad it wasn't an open world tho like wow

Azeroth has pretty much everything you'd want from a fantasy world covered. Big varied cities, impressive landmarks (Icecrown Citadel just made my jaw drop, as did most of Uldum), every kind of environment you could think of. What really made it a joy to explore was it's soundtrack - every piece fit each zone perfectly, and some of the stuff was masterful.

Fallout 1 & 2. Man, I must've played 'em a dozen times each, and still do...the world is just so beyond words.

Morrowind would be another I've spent hundreds of hours on.
