Im looking for the best PCIe card for a budget of around £80.
Seems like the 6600 series is my best option, but which one? Or any ATI cards better? pls help..cheers

XFX GeForce 7300 GS 512MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (PVT72G-WANG) (GX-066-XF) £49.29 inc vat

Could try this, it look excellent for the money

or this

Leadtek WinFast PCX6600TD GeForce PCX6600 256MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-046-LT) £76.32 inc

does that leadtek bored overclock well? its just a normal 6600 board right?

Just to let you know, I've also sourced a 6600GT for £83 if that makes any difference.

PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 GTO 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-053-PC) £82.19 inc

Asus ATI Radeon EAX-X1300 Pro-TD 256MB DDR2 AVIVO TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-095-AS) £76.32 inc

Sapphire ATI Radeon X1300 512MB DDR2 AVIVO TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-109-SP) £88.07 inc

But the best of all IMO is probably the X800gto for your budget

The leadteks are very good boards imo, I've had several leadtek boards & they always clocked well.

But you'll probably be better off with the X800gto board, I would go for that one Powercolour are a c=good make and I hear they clock okay.

6600gt is a good card also, but generally the x800 is slightly better/quicker

Hi there

The PowerColor X800 GTO is a fantastic card for the money and probably unbeatable for sub £100. :)

However if you can stretch do check out the HIS X800 GTO 256MB Turbo on This Week Only as its only a little over your budget but it is a very quick card. :D
