Cracking card, gets excellent reviews. So far finding it to be fantastic for my gaming needs at 1080. Depends what your requirements are though I suppose. I went back to Nvidia this time after a bad experience with an AMD card but for the money I'd guess I could have bought something new with slightly more poke if I'd stuck with another AMD offering. Still, happy with the 760.

thanks all, its actually not for myself, a friends AMD card went pop, and the retailer is giving a refund.

will take a look at the GTX760 as I dont think he wants to deal with AMD again.

To be fair, I wouldn't discount one brand just because it went pop. Compare benchmarks / the games he plays, etc.

The 760 above is the best bet at that price.

+1 for the GTX760, it's a cracking little card if you're not going over 1080.

I'd go for a 280, you can't beat it value wise it's cheaper than a 760
