Hi all

I'm currently using EVGA Precision, but it's a bit buggy. I have the fans set to 100%, but then sometimes I'll be playing a game and the fans will slow right down, allowing the temperature to creep up, and I have to then go into Precision again, put it on automatic control, press apply, then turn it off automatic control and drag it back up again and press apply.

It's pretty annoying.

I was going to get Rivatuner but from reading around the net it appears not to have a "start on boot" option for fan settings?

Thanks.

For my noisy Radeon 5870 I use MSI Afterburner. Has manual fan controls so you can set the fans to speed up as the card heats up etc.

Its free from MSI's website(works with non-MSI cards as mine is an Asus)

+1 to MSI AfterBurner. Works like a charm :). Also will start on boot as well, and you can make it start minimised so it'll be in the notification area which is helpful.

Yeah go for MSI afterburner, bit noisy running the fans at 100% though? Risk of reducing the fan life too I guess
