Cripes, get this GTX275 is so much acer than the ATI (which is poop), GO NVIDIA!!!


but seriously, get the 4890 - a fantastic card for the money. Though you may want to wait for the 23rd when the new ATI DX11 cards come out. I don't think any will be in your price range (initially at least), but it will drive the cost of DX10 cards down (both ATI and Nvidia alike).
 
He's not got access to the MM unfortunately :( But yea, another vote for the 4890 off me, cant beat it at that price!! But like andi said, maybe wait until the next lot of cards are out and see if that knocks the current prices down a bit
