Best GPU for Adobe Premiere Pro

Budget is £200ish and don't mind second hand. Ideally has to be Nvidia so it can uses the Cuda GPU acceleration unless its changed with AMD cards

Will also like to do a little bit of gaming and will be running on dual xeon system.

Which Premiere Pro version is it? Adobe software has supported OpenCL for a while now which works on both GPU brands, so you don't need a GPU with CUDA support.

Over time, I've found that the performance when using my GTX980 Ti has gotten worse, as the default transitions have become progressively choppy during playback. The other day, I installed my 7970 and found that overall it performed better than my Nvidia card does. I don't think there's a big difference between them, though, as all I needed to do was choose different default transitions, and then render them first before playback, but ultimately the AMD card provided a smoother running video.

So it looks like AMD is the way to go, going to see if I can stretch my budget and get 480 8GB version. Will the extra Vram make any difference?

It does on larger projects, and in games really. Even my Fury X with 4GB is starting to run into some memory issues as games advance
