Picked up a 4ghz capable i5-750 n matx board very cheap so going to build a little lan / steam box

What's most likely the best bang for buck used card for 30-40 quid?

470 / 570 seems to be selling for that on mm....worth it or are there better alternatives?

as close to apple to apple as I can give you I ran a 2500k at 4ghz alongside a 580gtx and they ran almost every game flat out at 1200p.

Metro last light and planetside 2 being the only games i had to knock a few settings down from super awesome max ultra setting to "high"
A 570gtx Overclocked should get you close to a stock 580GTX

BF3 ran flatout. Np IMO. But also depends what res your gaming at. I'm sure someone here will know how close to a 580 a 570 is. i have no idea, I'd guess around 10-15% at stock

Will be a max resolution of 1920x1080 so that should set me in good stead then :)

Ended up getting a 4870 for 15 quid (thank you ScottC) that should still some gfx grunt in it for what i want to play :)
