Best Gpu for my Itx Lan rig

Hi, need some help choosing a new gpu, i recently sold my full tower rig and changed over to an itx build, i have an i5 2400 in there and the case is an sg07.

i kept my gpu a 5970 with accellero cooler but it wont fit because its a triple slot cooler, so i am selling this on to a friend and have around £260 to spend on a new gpu. i play at 1920 x 1080 too.

Ive been waiting for the 560's and thought this might be the best bet, but now the 480's are on offer it seems like a really good deal. ive always had amd/ati and with not having any intention for eyefinity etc im more likley to use physx etc for batman aa.

right now im using my mates 5850 that i sold him whilst i decide on what to get, i just want something that can max most things, bar metro etc.

yeh i did mate, i even tried posting there, not much help. people usually have spec me threads in here, didnt think anyone would be a douche about me asking about a gpu though.

GTX480 might be a bit long.

560 might just fit though!

length isnt the issue, it can fit a stock 5970 in there, the card i had was triple slot though, it can only fit a 2 slot card in. wondering which would be the better buy, i know the 480 is hotter, louder and uses more power, but at my res would it make a huge difference over a 560 overclocked?

Yes, it might well do.

You see, a GTX480 is about equivalent to a GTX570 - the 560s big bro.

But a Fermi Mk I card has stupid heat issues and that's awful in a small case environment.

Either stretch to a £15 overbudget GTX570 or get a 560 and overclock the balls off it.
