First of all, Hi everyone. I've followed OC for a while (not so much the forums) but this is my first post so sorry if I go about this the wrong way.

I'm building a x99 rig, mainly for video editing but also gaming (of course :)) I've done a list (every part but the PC Case coming from OC) but I'm still in 2 minds about the GPU. At the moment I have a budget of £140 (can't spend more than that) for a GPU so I've identified the EVGA GTX 950 but compared to most of you guys I'm a noob so I wondered if there's anything better I can buy for the price.

I'll be upgrading to a 1070 towards the end of the year but I still need a decent GPU 'till then.

Here's the list of my build if anyone is interested (total budget: £990):
-Corsair Air 540
-i7 5820K
-Asrock Extreme4/3.1
-Crucial 16GB (4x4GB)
-Kingston 120GB SSDNow UV400 Drive
-Corsair Hydro H105 240mm Cooler
-Corsair CX 750W Modular '80 Plus Bronze' PSU
and
-EVGA GTX 950 Superclocked GPU

I had to cheap out on a couple items (due to funds). Like RAM (£49.99).
As I said, I'll be upgrading de GPU later in the year and so I'll also upgrade the RAM and SSDs in the coming months when I get more funds.

Thanks in advance for your help.

PS - Sorry if there's already a thread about this. If the Mods think this is spam please go ahead and delete it.

I've placed the order anyway.
By what i can see from dozens of reviews is that the 950 is the best for the price (under the £130 mark). At least one of the best. Overclocked even beats the stock 960 on some benchmarks.

Can't wait to play with my new rig.
Hope everything goes OK with the build. My first build this expensive.

Thanks anyway.

PS - If the Mods feel like it they can delete this thread. I'll leave up to them.
