Hey guys, so im looking to make the move to triple monitors... now i have a GTX580 atm but im wondering whats the best GPU i can do this with in terms of simplicity / power / cost.

ATI's have Eyefinity so i dont need 2 actual cards right where as Nvidia will force me to do the opposite for Nvidia surround.

With all the cards and SLI combos you could put together to make this work its rather confusing, i would even consider downgrading and or going SLI/X-fire.... any cut in cost helps towards the monitors aswell and to be quite honest the 580 has been overkill since i got it and theres no way i could justify buying another even if i had that kind of money.

Not looking to go crazy with monitors if thats in question, probably in the range of 20-22", so its not going to be powering some huge desk cinema screen :)

Your easiest bet would be to sell the 580 now whilst its still got good resale value and buy a 6950 (2 gig version - important for large resolution)

yep sell the 580 and go for 6950 or 6970, should have some change left over or you could try doing a swap with someone with a 6970
