I am aiming to place my order for a new sandybridge rig and still not comfortable in my knowledge of current gpu's, my last purchase was a radeon 9800 pro 8 years ago!
I was initially planning on ordering a 6990 but that ship sailed some time ago.
i am not sure i want to order a gtx 590 as a replacement due to the cost however i am still considering spending that much.
to run a dell u3011 in its native resolution and on high settings on games what graphics card setup will work best.
would dual 6970's give me the best price to performance or would another setup be better?
