i need to state it don't have to be a gaming card it's purely to power 3x Dell UltraSharp U2414H 24" for work purposes. Will more than likely just be using it in expanded desktop mode.

i was hoping to find something with 3xdp or 3x mini dp to make life easier for the person using it but the only things i can seem to find are the firepro amd cards

Is there any cards that have 2dp and 1 mini dp so i can just use a converter for one of the screens?

Price is negligible really.Don't need to be a gaming gpu just the power to run the 3 screens for work flow at high resolution. I looked at a firepro that has 4 display ports but I have no idea what it's designed for primarily.

The Firepros are cards designed for Design and simulation purposes mainly. They are the AMD eqivulant of the Nvidia Quadro range.

They are used in a lot of workstations for doing CAD, simulations and rendering mainly. There price is a bit too high for just general work purposes...

Your issue is outputs, not many low end cards have that many display ports.. Though I do remember a card called the eyefinity 6.. Maybe something along those lines.

Im pretty sure the gigabyte 970 offers a serious amount of outputs. Each manufacturer may differ but I'm sure gigabyte was the one that had the edge there

You are indeed correct just double checked. I spoke with him today and he said having a gaming card could possibly be a bonus just in case.
