Yea, but the problem is the 7750 OcUK is selling at the moment only got GDDR3 memory, and the 7770 is around only a tenner higher in price, faster and with GDDR5 memory.7750
I had a 7770 with a g840 and it bottlenecked the card a lot in some games

Sorry for not being more specific, I was referring the then £59.99 MSI 7750 2048MB GDDR3 and £73.99 MSI 7770 GHz Edition 1024MB GDDR5.the 1gig 7750 is GDDR5 according to ocuk.
7850 is far too powerful for what you need. You won't see any benefits at all until you change both your cpu and monitor.
This card would be a good middleground between the 7770 + 7850 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-220-MS
whats the point of it when for an extra £20 he can get a 7850 which is a better performer.
Op will probably upgrade his cpu and monitor in time and when he does he will have a card capable of powering the res saving money in the long term.
