In that case save the extra for the BFG 6800 GS, but be quick......
The X1600 Pro is slower than a 6600 GT so avoid......
I guess it is the X1600XT that is faster?
6600GT it is then, although if it were me I would keep the 9800pro as it isnt a bad card plus I wouldnt want to lose the AIW features. Save up then move to AM2/PCI-E or the intel equivilent depending on how they perform in about 6 months.

In all fairness a 6600gt really is not that big a step ahead of the 9800pro. I'd strongly consider waiting till you can get something that'll really make a difference.
