Best Graphics card for MOBO

Hi all

As some of you may know I am building my first PC and now the only stumbling block I have is which brand of graphics card will be best for my MOBO, please look at signature below;

Should I go with an 8800GT or go with HD3870

Any brand preference

And I may in the not too distant future go with 2 graphics cards so looking at SLI/ crossfire options.

Looking at spending no more than £200, and have 22" monitor so 1680 x 1050
