The best half height card in the world is the 6850, sold only in Japan.

Joint next is the 6750 and GTS 450, power connectors are needed for these and a 200-300W PSU minimum (which don't tend to come with pci-e power connectors).

Sane people would look for a half height 6670 as it doesn't require extra power connectors.
