Hey guys,

I built a computer about a year ago based on the i5 2500k, and 8GB ram, but it was primarily for photo editing on dual screens so I just put a cheap graphics set up in there.

Now I'd like to play Day Z (Arma 2) and maybe a little Starcraft with some decent settings - what would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

What resolutions do you play at?

I've seen the Radeon 7790's floating around for just under £100 lately, pretty good card! Although if you could ever find a 7850 for under a £100 sure ^^

Thanks guys. How much more would I need to spend iyho?

I was thinking £100, but if a little more £ would significantly improve the cards available to me, I can always consider...

The Gigabyte 7850 i linked, its 30% faster than the 7770. :)

you can always get a brand new 7850 and sell the games which should be the same price as a B-grade 7850 but make sure to get the 2GB version :)

If you can not stretch to the £170 for the 7850 have a little look at the NVidia 650ti Boost.

Check out the benchmarks for it vs a 7850, it bodes pretty well and is only costing £140, £30 cheaper than a 2gb 7850.

Or just get the 650ti, at only £130 and can play most games at high settings with AA and AF turned down a little.
