Best graphics card for under £400?

Hello
Im planning on replacing my current graphics card sapphire r9 280x toxic as its now my second one that is getting artifacts and im thinking about saving up some money and buying a gtx 780 but i dont know which one to get and or a different graphic card, or should I just try to get a third sapphire r9 280x toxic and see if im going to get a good one ?

Ill be using it for gaming

£400 is 290 territory with a custom cooler. Not sure on what models are best nowadays but that's good bang for buck.

£400 is GTX 780 vs 290 teritory, as you can tell from above.

If you're having issues with a 280X currently, i suggest a GTX 780.

The Sapphire 290 Tri-X is probably the best card to get.

If you want to switch to Nvidia then I suggest the 780 Gaming Edition.
