Best graphics card for under £50?

Yes, you heard correct! At the moment I have a x1950pro and am looking for an improvement on this as the budget is very slim! Any ideas?

either save up more, as any new card you get will not really be an improvement or look very hard for a second hand card like a 3850 that may or may not be available for under £50

yup, you can a new 3850pro for that kind of money. what about selling your x1950pro and putting that money towards it as well?

i heard there's a 3850 512 for 72 quid or so from here.... be excellent as an upgrade

Even though it's only 256mb? My current card is 512mb. I'm gaming in 1280x1024 but will be upgrading to a 22" widescreen shortly.

hm thats not far off the price of x1950s second hand, ideally sell the x1950 and you can get a 8800gt for sale price+70

hang on a minute, you're getting a 22in screen but were expecting to find a card for 50 sheets to play games on it?
