Best Graphics?

Hi all,

Friend has just built a new pc (6600, sli 8800's), and im looking for some games to show off the graphics. Is there anything out there which will do the job apart from crysis?

Another vote for Oblivion - WELL MODDED!
Get some decent eye candy mods, ie unique landscapes, better cities, qtp3 redimised, aevwd, natural environments, any decent landscape lod replacer....

Was gonna come in here and just put CRYSIS is huge font. But since you're saying apart from that, I'd say Stalker and UT3 are both good ones to take a look at.
COD4 is nice and shiney, but lacks the detail that Stalker and Crysis both have.

Stalker is easily the most atmospheric and engrossing environment for me, so the graphics must be doing the job ergo comes highly rated from me!

objectes seem to lack shadows, which bugs me when i notice it, and takes the edge of it being excellent visually. the characters look nice, the landscapes and grass drag things down again. also cod auto takes jpg screenies, which does the usual job of muddying them up . guess i shoudl use fraps or something else.
