Hey guys!

Looking around all the options are slim I'm looking for personal opinions on some of the 1080p Gsync 144hz monitors that are available on the market. All the reviews I've been able to find are fairly old as obviously all the rave is 1440p+ but I doubt my gtx1060 can handle this. Before I bite the bullet and spend £350+ on a monitor to replace my 10 year old dell 1440x900 monitor what's everyone's opinion on the best performing 1080p 144hz gsync monitor (24"+).

Cheers guys hopefully someone can help me choose :).

Not really up to date on 24 inch monitors but I saw Asus rog swift recently got released as a 24".

The original had some quality control issues but the return policy was good so worse case scenario you had to return one or 2 to get a great one. I know 20 odd people personally who use it, only 1 had to do an RMA for a dodgy power supply, rest have been perfect.

Good luck in your search

Last week I took delivery of a AOC G2770PF 27" monitor. And it's awesome. And good value coming in the region of 270-300 pounds.

Sorry, I forgot to add that it's only freesync, not g sync but never had any issues with tearing or such on my gtx 1060.

not much to pick between the available 1080p models on OCUK, however this AOC:

has a year more warranty than the acer models, so I'd probably go with that.
Depending on your budget, I'd probably be more tempted to get rid of the 1060 (assuming you're right about the performance not being enough!) and upgrade to either 1440+ GTX1070 or 1440freesync + VEGA once out (again, assuming that VEGA is not a flop)

Yeah I don't think I can bring myself to pay that on a 1080p monitor. So I think my plan is for now to get the ASUS VS248HR 24". I'll look to upgrade to a 1170 or a vega card if those are decent in the next year and then go into a 1440p monitor for either freesync or gsync depending on which looks better :).
