My dad has a cheap as chips soldering iron and i'd like to practice using it as well as learning how to sleeve cables and whatnot. I've got a few crappy old case fans lying around that i can destroy by practicing on them. There's quite a lot of guides out there and i dont want to waste my time reading/watching ones from people that might not actually know what they're doing.
