Best Hard Drive Recovery Program?

Hello guys I have a 2TB external hard drive that seem's to have formatted itself. I have not touched the drive as I don't want to overwrite anything on it. Anyone recommend a good piece of software to do the trick as a simple google search delivers about 300 different ones.

This has worked for me in the past. Nothing though is guaranteed unfortunately.
