As title really, have been looking at the razer piranha or speedlink medusa pro gamer edition headsets, is there anything better i can get for the money, will be mainly used to game but will listen to some music.

As bledd says gaming headphones are really crap.
If you must have some with a mic at least get the Sennheiser PC350's.

Best thing to do is spend as much as you can on some decent headphones and buy a desktop mic if you need it for Ventrilo or whatever.

The small ear pads can get a little uncomfortable after a few of hours but you should probably be taking a break after that amount of time anyway!! :D

Go for the best goldrings or senns you can afford.

Im soo glad a lot of people have now been converted in this forum, makes my job easier with backup :D:D:D
